White Kitchen BackSplash Trends

Good Morning we hope that everyone is having a great week so far.  This weeks post we wanted to touch base on backsplash tile.  The options are endless, we do offer packages for backsplash to be added to your kitchens.  Different levels to choose from etc.  However customizing your kitchen can also be an option, getting creative and thinking outside the box. Here are some of our favorite backsplash ideas for lighter kitchens.

This first one was featured on ‘ Love it or List it Vancouver’, I just fell in love with the originality of it.  A modern porcelain tile that comes in a mix of 5 slightly different patterns.

backsplash

Another Beauty, this almost diamond shaped backsplash is a mixture of both Carrera and grey marble.

A classic way to incorporate a subway tile.  Simple changing the way it is layed, this herringbone backsplash is stunning.

This space overall I am in LOVE with.  From the open concept upper shelving, farm sink and of course the backsplash.  This backsplash is an arabesque style mosaic, they can come in stainless, marble and porcelain.

A mixture in this backsplash, overall it is all calacatta stone with an arabesque mosaic center feature.
Hope you enjoyed these kitchens and backsplash as much as I did!

Design Of The Day

Good Morning, i thought i would share this fun picture on this morning!

Now this is unique! An architect from New York transformed two identical 1-bedroom units, one atop the other.  By combining them into a duplex 2-bedroom home with the option to descend by the half-tube stainless steel slide. Who wouldn’t want to have this option in their home? Maybe i need to bring this up to our design team here at Sunlight Homes, what do you think?
The slide starts on the top floor near the office, and lands below near both the living and dining areas.  The image of the stainless steel curves in front of the oversized window to the city beyond.  With careful detail, the playground element is an unexpected elegant addition to this contemporary space. Not to mention a very fast and fun way to get to the main floor!
