Home Owner Utilities Information - Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo
Thank you for your purchase of one of our fine homes! We know this is a very exciting time for you. It is our goal to make this as stress free as possible for you; we are giving you this information to help you communicate and co-ordinate your new home. Within a couple of weeks (or longer depending on your closing date), you will receive a call from our office to set up an appointment to make your colour and design selections. ALL decisions made at this time MUST BE FINAL. Any change requested after that meeting will be
subject to a $350.00 service charge.
Approximately 4-6 weeks before closing, you should contact the following companies to set up your new account. Please notify them of your move in date so that their records can reflect the change in ownership.

| Bell Canada (Cambridge, Kitchener & Waterloo Area) | Call 310-2355 and request a line installation into the house from the garage. The main line for the street to your house is already in. Bell Canada can also hook up jacks for you. |
| Union Gas (Cambridge & Waterloo Area) | Call 1-888-774-3111 to set up an account for natural gas. |
| Kitchener Utilities (Kitchener Area) | Call 519-741-2450 to set up an account for natural gas. |
| Union Energy> (Cambridge, Kitchener & Waterloo Area) | Call 519-621-4743 for rental gas water heater (installed by Sunlight Heritage Homes) |
| Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro (Cambridge Area) | Call 519-621-3484 to set up an account for Hydro and Water. |
| Waterloo North Hydro (Waterloo Area) | Call 519-885-6840 to set up an account for Hydro and Water. |
| Kitchener Wilmont Hydro (Kitchener Area) | Call 519-743-3600 to set up an account for Hydro and Water. |
| Canada Post | Call 886-4660 to obtain a mailbox and arrange for mail delivery and to obtain a postal code. Or visit their web site www.canadapost.ca. |
| Recycling Program | Call 883-5150 to arrange for a blue box and recycling pick up and to find out the pick-up day in your new neighbourhood. |
| Rogers Cable | Call 1-866-293-8199 to set up an account for Cable TV, Internet and Wireless. |
Shortly before closing, Wilson or a Customer Service Representative will call you and set up a preclosing inspection of your new home. At this time, the mechanical features and items in your new home will be explained.
On the day of closing KEYS for your new home can be picked up at your Lawyer's office only after closing. Unfortunately, due to legalities we are prohibited from releasing keys any earlier or allowing even partial move-ins.
